Founded in Taiwan in 2017, Tiger Sugar pioneered the original brown sugar “drinkable dessert,” becoming world-renowned for our signature Black Sugar Boba Milk and iconic tiger-stripe design.

Our boba is prepared fresh daily with patience and care for the perfect chewy texture and rich brown sugar aroma. Every drink is handcrafted to order using carefully selected ingredients, bringing together authentic Taiwanese flavor, quality, and craftsmanship.

At Tiger Sugar Dinkytown, we’re more than a boba shop—we’re a place for students, friends, families, and our community to connect, relax, and enjoy something sweet. From Taiwan to Minnesota, one handcrafted cup at a time.

Way more variety than I expected! They have the classic Tiger Sugar drinks, matcha, fruit teas, slushes, mango sago, coffee, and lots of toppings. Everyone in our group was able to find something they liked.

I got the Classic Tiger Sugar Milk and it was delicious! The brown sugar flavor was rich and the boba was perfectly chewy. The store is really nice and clean, and the staff were super friendly and patient. Great experience overall — definitely coming back!

Really enjoyed this place! The boba was fresh and chewy, and the drink wasn’t overly sweet. There are also puzzles and books, so it’s a nice place to sit and hang out with friends. Great spot in Dinkytown!
